Reflexology works for tiny feet feet too, helping to relieve colic and teething pain.
The Benefits of Reflexology

Reflexology reduces tension and anxiety. It promotes relaxation and the feeling of well-being. It relaxes the mind and body and helps the body eliminate toxins. Clients will feel relaxed and calm after treatment.

Reflexology is not a 'quick fix'

It's not magic.

Sadly, it will not cure cancer, but it has become widely respected as a superb palliative care treatment, easing the symptoms of cancer treatment, whilst relieving stress and anxiety levels.

It can be very effective, in helping to calm the nasty symptoms that accompany many other disorders.

Reflexology treatment can be used to help;

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Sinusitis and General Colds

  • Menstrual Problems – cramps, ovarian cysts, irregular periods

  • Infertility

       Pregnancy and labour

  • Migraine and general headaches

  • Urinary Tract Infections

  • Sports injuries

  • PTSD

After any kind of stress, illness, or hormonal imbalance, the body becomes out of kilter.

Reflexology naturally encourages the body to restore a natural balance and harmony (Homeostasis) by clearing congested reflexes,  Chakra energy blockages, and neurological paths, using the body's natural Meridians, similar to Acupuncture.

So who is reflexology for ?

Reflexology is a safe, natural therapy for all. It can be used to treat infants, teenagers, pregnant women, and the elderly. You do not have to be ill to have Reflexology; it is a very relaxing therapy and a real treat.

How often should I have a treatment?

Regular reflexology treatments are a good way to keep your health in check. Even if you are not sick, a regular reflexology treatment will boost your immune system and act as an ideal prevention of ill health. Regular treatments will maintain properly balanced systems.

Can I have reflexology if I am on medication?

If you are ill and on medication, reflexology can be used as a complementary therapy along with medical treatment. Full details of your condition will be taken at your first consultation and you will be required to check with your doctor that reflexology will not interfere with your medication. Or even better, check with your doctor that they are happy for you to have reflexology before you make an appointment. Many doctors and consultants are recognising the benefits of this anxiety-relieving and calming therapy.

Reflexology is now finally being recognised for its benefits in helping with Infertility. In the East Midlands, there is a 66% success rate, for women who have previously had no success with IVF. Level 5 Reflexologists are the only level recognised by the NHS and therefore used for patient referrals by GPs and Palliative care.
